Personal
My inspiration to become a massage therapist came from my older sister. She has a slight curvature of the spine, scoliosis, that caused her frequent pain and discomfort. I began massaging her back when I was 8 years old. It is an immense joy to be able to use my gifts to help others feel better and enjoy their lives more fully.
I am a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community. This is a safe space.

Deep tissue uses rehabilitative techniques to address the deeper musculature. I believe in a slow and steady approach to deep work to allow the muscles to relax and melt under my hands. This work is particularly good for injuries, chronic pain, scars, and recovering from surgeries. Specifically, scoliosis, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow and other tendonitis, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, migraines,
TMJ, and rotator cuff injuries,
Swedish incorporates long flowing strokes to increase circulation, lymphatic flow, and calm the nervous system. I incorporate this into every massage. A clam soothing touch reduces stress, anxiety, depression, blood pressure and increases mental clarity, deeper and easier breathing, a healthy immune system, feelings of general well-being, and awareness of the mind- body connection.
Myofascial release decreases tightness and decreases fascial tissue restrictions to relieve pain, and restore mobility. It is a subtle but powerful method for reducing tension in the body.
